Hi everyone!
December! Oh my... the older I get the faster time seems to fly! We pray that you all had a very happy Thanksgiving and were able to spend
some quality time with your families! We are thankful for so very much! We are thankful for all of you, family and friends, a roof over our
heads, a bed to sleep in, hot water showers, electricity, food on the table, clothes on our backs, and so very much more!! For a God that loves us in spite of ourselves! For His son who loved us so much He endured the cross just because He loved us so very much!! Isn't God so very good!! Praise the Lord!
The rain continues in Honduras. It is showing signs of slowing down, as the rainy season comes to an end. There are a lot of people who
will be happy to start reclaiming their homes and getting back to as normal of a situation as they can! Prayers! The crew is working in Omoa, plastering walls. I'm busy putting pricing together for the new church project for next year, the first thing that has to
be built is a wall around the property, to make sure materials don't walk off! We're still dealing with the city in La Ceiba and the
need for a permit. We're trying to find the original architect on the project. We are not having any luck with that yet.
Thanksgiving morning here, and there is snow in the air! Some places are starting to turn white! Tammy is cooking today with Nicole and
her girls, grandma teaching the young ones! Proud of her!! Our get together is tomorrow. Chad and Hannah are having theirs today. Sarah and Levi are having their meal today at the local community center! And all of God's people say... "AMEN"
It looks like we'll be able to start delivering food Monday! Darwyn from Lifeline has generously given us some meals to distribute too!
We
are going to add water, fruit, fruit juice packs and some cookies to give the families a great meal! Sindy is going to make up 300 bags total, planning on 100 for La Ceiba, 100 for Omoa and 100 for Esquipulas. We haven't been to Esquipulas yet ourselves, we do know where it is. Sindy has been helping there on Sundays. It is a community along the river in San Pedro Sula. They were completely wiped out! Pictures and more information next week!
Blessings to you all! John and Tammy
