Hey everyone!
It is Wednesday morning, and the wind is blowing hard out! I'm going to have to chase down the dog's food dish! The wind blew
it and her water jug off of the porch! I've also heard that they have closed down part of the interstate near Lake Erie, no trucks allowed
because of the high winds! Hold on to your hats! The crew is working on Tranquilidad's house while Beto and Sindy go to Antony's
graduation today! Congratulations Antony! His dream is to become an architect! Praying for him! He is going to be on our scholarship
sponsor program if you are interested.
We (Jerry, Amena, Tammy and I) had a good meeting yesterday with Pastor Brannon with Richwood Church on St Rt 47. He is very interested in what we are doing and is receptive to furthering our relationship, especially with prayer and possibly more in the future! Praise the Lord! Pastor Brannon himself was born to missionary parents in American Samoa! He understands!
Happy Thanksgiving! Let us thank the mercy and grace of the Lord, from whom all blessings flow! 1 Chronicles 16:34 "Give thanks to
the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever." Yesterday and this morning we had 21 wild turkeys graze across the field in our back
yard! They may have been saying to us, "maybe next year" lol. The world the Lord has built for us to live in is incredible! We are having
our family Thanksgiving dinner Friday afternoon.
We are finalizing our trip to Honduras and Panama now. Jose is gathering prices for us from his end while I'm researching online. We
are going to be gone for two weeks with 5 days in Panama. We will probably spend one night in Tegucigalpa on the way down, needing
to deliver the affiliation paperwork and saying hi to Darwyn and Ana. We're driving to San Salvador and flying from there primarily because Honduras still requires a yellow fever vaccination if you are going to or from Panama, and we don't want to do that.
The crew has finished the block for Tranquilidad's house and today (Saturday) they are starting to pour the concrete "ring" around

the top to tie everything together. The ring is a necessity for the seismic activity in Honduras and something most of the contractors do.
It is exciting to be able to watch the progress in real time through the camera, it helps to keep me involved with what is happening.
Thank you, Lord, for that technology! It is starting to rain there now, hopefully not too much or not too long as they are pouring
concrete. They are also starting to feed the electrical tubing (that the wire goes into) into the block, from the top and through the "ring",
to the location needed for switches and outlets.
And it started snowing here. We have heard that Iowa is going to get anywhere from 10" to 24" this weekend! And we
are driving there in 4 days! Talked with daughter Sarah and they already had 6" or more at 4:00! And it's supposed to be really cold
by the time we get there too, single digits! Brrrr! And, I need to say it, lol, it is 74 degrees in Honduras now, at 6:00 at night!
Sunday morning and it's just above freezing, the wind is blowing and it's raining! Brrr! Not so nice weather! We are asking for
prayer today for Honduras. Their election is today and most likely there will be protests with roads being blocked and who knows
what else. We were told by several people not to be there during this time. Some of our Honduran friends have been buying extra
groceries because they aren't going outside while all of this is going on. A lot of prayer needed!
Tammy and I are thankful for all of the blessings that God has given us! We have experiences on top of experiences! We are
thankful for all of you and your support!
Blessings, John and Tammy
