Hola Hope you are all doing well!
Well, I was selected for jury duty. As is turns out the criminal case is with someone from Venezuela, and they have to use
interpreters, that sounds right up my alley! Something we do all the time in Honduras, have someone with us who can speak
Español and English! The trial took 3 days, it was interesting, I'm not sure I agree completely with the law the way it is written.
It was felony assault, where a fight between two women got out of hand. Bad decisions can sometimes be just that, a bad
decision. And now, call back in on Friday and do it again next Monday! I have other things to do... lol
The crews are forging ahead with their projects. The Omoa crew trimmed a lot of trees out of the way so we can drive
the bus through without damaging something on the top of it! That needed done! The La Ceiba crew is laying block. The walls
are starting to take shape!
Working on our house, doing paperwork, talking to people about supporting us, keeping busy here in Ohio. Today is Thursday, I
booked our flight for the next trip, August 14 to October 8. I was keeping track every day for a while, it appears it's cheaper to
buy flights during the week. I heard today Kaydence has another baseball tournament this weekend. It is in Loudenville, northeast
of here. Pretty country over there!
Saturday today, thank you Lord for the blessing of another healthy, handsome grandson!! Born last night, 7 lbs. 9 oz. x 20" long!
Welcome to the world Boone! Congratulations Chad and Hannah!
We are going to share our story at a local church this coming Wednesday evening. Pray that the Holy Spirit works through us and
expresses our needs in an emotional and convincing way!
I've also attached a pdf that we're going to use when we go talk to people about supporting us. Hope you enjoy it!
The time goes so fast! There are lots of things to do, ideas to follow up on...we rely on the fact that God is in control, it is His timing
and He is guiding our footsteps!
Praise the Lord that we have HIM!! What a mess it would be without Him!
Blessings, John and Tammy!
