Weekly Update November 10th

Hi everyone! Our prayer is that you had a blessed week!

Today is election day, we voted a couple of weeks ago, in person. There were a lot of people voting that day! We pray that the

voting reflects the biblical guidelines that God has given us! If not, we trust that God has a plan, and He will make the best of whatever mess we make!

We also met with pastor Dave and pastor Caleb today (Tuesday). We originally met with them in August this year. They are excited about a mission trip this coming March! Sometime soon we will go meet with the people from their church that are interested! Praise the Lord!

I had an interesting phone call this morning; another door God has opened for us! When we were back in the states in July, I noticed

that a life insurance policy had lapsed in March. I called the provider and talked with our representative for a while, when he found out the

reason for the lapse, he was inclined to call the main office of Prudential and try to convince them to reinstate the policy.  He called me

back in August and said that the main office had approved the reinstatement! Thank you, Lord! He was very interested in what we were doing in Honduras and apparently was impressed enough to call us, out of the blue, Tuesday. He was all excited, knew that we are looking for supporters and wanted to invite us to his church so he could introduce us to as many people as he could! Amen! There was a lot more said as we talked, which boiled down to, he felt that Jesus was changing his life and his perspective on his life, and he was on fire for Jesus!!  Praise the Lord! We are excited to meet Duane this Sunday at Cypress Church in Galloway, Ohio!!

We met at CUCC church briefly Wednesday evening after church. We picked a week that works well with Honda shutdown, Saturday June 28 to Saturday July 5! Off to Honduras we go! What a blessing!

As we plan for team trips to Honduras for next year, and you are interested, please get ahold of us! We will do our best to get you to Honduras for one of your more rewarding experiences! Right now, we're talking serious trips for March 25 to April 1; June 14 to 21; July 5

to July 12, and a chiropractor team sometime in August! There is some room on these trips and many other dates for you to go!

The crew is busy in La Ceiba. They are very close to finishing the block and are working on the plaster! The upstairs is starting to look

like a house! I can't think of a lot to say about what's going on...since we're not there . I have had good reports on the water

system working like it's supposed to!

Next week ICOM is here! (International Conference on Missions) Pray for us as we venture to Lexington, Kentucky for our first ever "show". We have a booth and will be there all-day next Thursday, Friday and Saturday! Come see us (Nikki, Tammy, Jerry and me) if you are so inclined, we'd love to see a familiar face! And also, we're counting on seeing a lot of new faces, praying for some good relationships to come from our attendance!

Today is Saturday, not a lot going on except work. Riley had another "Faith Workout" at the gym he goes to and coaches at, Crossfit

184 in Marysville. Riley mentioned us and our mission and if anyone wanted more information to come visit with me. I met a girl from

Venezuela who was interested in how much Spanish I spoke, lol, not a lot yet. And was interested in what we were doing in Honduras.

She was telling me how Venezuela is now, with two classes, the rich and the poor.  I talked with a few other people, and a couple

who were interested in a mission trip! God is good!

I haven't quite gotten used to scaping the frost off the windshield yet. I'm sure there will be more of that before we go back to

Honduras in January!

As always, we appreciate you all very much! Thank you for your prayers  and well wishes!

Praying for you! John, Tammy and crew!
