Hey there everyone! Hope you are doing well!
Our time in Tegucigalpa is about to end for this trip, 10 days including travel days! We should have everything ready to paint before the end of the day tomorrow, Tuesday. The painting has already started. The classrooms are looking good! We will have gone through a little over 30 gallons of joint compound!

No wonder our shoulders are a little sore! It was good seeing Darwyn and Ana and family!
They are coming to Ohio in May for Fernanda's college graduation!
Wednesday (tomorrow) we're heading back north to Omoa. Stopping in Siguatepeque to meet with Brenda from Children's Bible
Ministries, (they rented our bus) and San Pedro Sula to meet with Habitat for Humanity Honduras. We had a nice surprise last night, some friends (Mordecai, Yosa and Valentina) from Choloma showed up, stayed in the room next to us and we were able to have breakfast together. Mordecai had been a translator for our LL team trips for years and is also the pastor of a church in Choloma.
Our meeting with Habitat went really well! They had wanted to do something similar to what we do, with on-the-job training, etc.
and couldn't get it going. They were very excited about us and want to pursue our collaboration further. They are going to come
to Omoa and look at some of our work, then if they like what they see they will generate a working agreement, and we'll get started! Thank you, Lord, for going before us and opening doors! Habitat is in the process of getting ready to build 32 homes in Omoa! They have the land and are waiting for the city to finish the grading and the water installations. They have locations all over Honduras and are getting ready to move into Guatemala! Which is on our vision statement for 2025! Praise the Lord!
I just got done sending last year's contribution statements via email. If you find anything wrong let me know, I did have a Wix donation
and a deposited check that I can't find any reference on. For those of you who used Zeffy, Zeffy sent a separate email to you with your
donation statement. Thank you all so very much for your support. It is greatly needed, appreciated and put to good use! God bless you!
With the possibility of our partnership with Habitat taking off, we will need money for tools, pickups, a backhoe, and other equipment. If
you feel God leading you... this is a good way to store up your treasures in heaven! Matthew 6: 19-20.
We ate dinner Wednesday evening at Sunset Playa Resort in Omoa. The owners are from Canada and are interested in us helping with some of their maintenance. I've enclosed a couple of pictures. The double cheeseburger was one of the best I've had in Honduras! Very good! And Beto had a fish dinner that covered the whole plate! In the background of the picture of Tammy, you can see our place,
a small cone shaped hat on the gazebo.
I've been working on pricing for some projects. Close to having them all done. Two roof replacements and a church build. We could
be very busy very soon! Praise the Lord!
Next week we're back to La Ceiba area Tuesday and Wednesday. Meeting with the city, meeting with Shawn from Village of Hope in Sambo Creek and meeting with Irlen from Givehope2kids in Jutiapa. Praying for a very productive couple of days!
We are thankful for your prayers! Have a blessed week! John and Tammy
