Hello!!Â
  Â
When I finish this up and send it to you, we will be back in USA! And it is a little bit colder than we are used to! lol Maybe 40 to 60Â
degrees colder... brrrr! I'm starting this Monday evening from our apartment in Quimistan. It has rained most of the day here in

Honduras, and you can try to convince me differently but I'm thinking this is all God's doing! Because we have been praying and
praying that the police will not see us, look the other way, be busy, etc. so I can drive with my expired driver's license. Since it was
raining, the police were either not at their usual stops, in their trucks, in their offices, or they didn't pay any attention to us! Except
for one guy at the last stop, after it had stopped raining. My play is when I roll the window down, instead of greeting them in my
limited Spanish, I just greet them in English. They usually just look in the back seat then motion me onwards! Works most of the
time! I'm thinking they don't want to mess with a gringo that doesn't speak Spanish and that they are assuming that I have everything
in order anyway so they don't bother! We made two trips to Quimistan today from Omoa, the first we left at 4 am, picked up the crew
and took them to Quimistan then back to Omoa to pack for the flight on Thursday in case we don't get to go back to Omoa. Then to
Choloma to Beto and Sindy's new house where we loaded up the wood that they were done with so we can use if for forming here
in Quimistan. Since we were on the road so much, we probably had close to 30 places where the police usually have stops set up,
and only saw a few places manned and only one stop!! Thank you, Jesus!!!Â
It is Wednesday morning, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, we have a lot to be thankful for! Our last full day in Honduras
for a while, just resting, doing some paperwork, making sure things can go as smoothly as possible while we're gone. Blessed toÂ
be busy! The crew is pouring the cement on the "bonding ring", which ties the house walls all together. They should be done with
that this week. Then on to building more walls, bringing the fill inside the house up to grade level and then starting on the plumbing.
Saturday morning, last night we had family night. Our local family was able to make it for supper, at a local BBQ restaurant. A
fun time seeing everyone! We were missing two of the grandkids and all of the Iowa family. We're making plans to go to Iowa after
Thanksgiving. I got my driver's license renewed yesterday and I've started my passport renewal. My passport expires on June 1, 2026.
Honduras restricts travel for 6 months prior to the expiration. Therefore, I can't travel to Honduras after December 1 this year, which
puts a crimp in my plans...lol... so I'm working on applying for an expedited passport, going to try and get my picture today and the
application mailed! Praying the government shutdown doesn't affect this!!  (I looked online, the passport division is supposed
to stay open) And I got it mailed today so we'll see!Â
We are progressing with our plans for Panama. Now that we are in the states, we have churches to contact that previously have
supported Jose and the mission there. Praying for God's guidance and providence and the Holy Spirit working through us as we
contact them. Beto and Sindy are heading to La Roma to stay the night and then pick the team up and take them back to theÂ
airport early. I got another request for a bus rental in January today, thank you Jesus! We learned this week that one of the jobs we
had quoted we aren't getting. God's plan! Still waiting on the other quote to hear and I'm in the process of quoting another house.
It's Sunday morning, we're getting ready to attend two churches this morning :)! It is raining and 40 degrees, and it's supposed to
be snowing by this evening! Brrrr!Â
Blessings to you all! John and Tammy
