Weekly Update Aug. 13

Good afternoon, everyone! The sun is shining, it's nice out, what a beautiful day that God has made for us here in central Ohio! This segway's nicely into the first picture you will see on the power point presentation. Pay attention to it! Then practice it! Ps. 46:10 Be still and know I am God!

The crew has been busy in Honduras this week during our absence! The girls have been painting Mabel's room and refurnishing a couple of bed

frames. In their spare time from cooking and doing all the other things that women do around the house and don't get enough credit for! We are

blessed to have good people in our lives!

The guys have been digging the dirt (and sludge) to get ready for the next concrete pour! Pictures show how close the ground water is to the surface

where we are... and if you're wondering, as long as the concrete is not too wet, and the water isn't moving, the concrete will just displace the water and it will be fine, strong and where we want it to be. The forms are in, rebar placed, ready for the next step!

I am so very happy I was encouraged to put security cameras in! Initially it was for safety, for Mabel staying there by herself to feel safer, to be able to

see what is going on around her! And to deter people with the wrong intentions to stay away! A side benefit is that we can observe what is going on, watch the sea as waves break upon the shore, see and hear the beauty of Honduras! And! Twice this week I was able to answer questions by looking at the camera and talking through the questions! Once while I was on the telephone with Mabel and once talking through the camera with

Dany!! Technology is really neat (when it's working)! When the electricity is off down there, and Saturday it was off most of the day, I don't get a

chance to observe and I miss being "with the crew"! Sooo very much better with it though! Another blessing!! God is so very good!

Please be praying for safety, financial support, teams to start booking, and for the continued purpose of our ministry, to educate the less fortunate, to

provide better paying employment, to honor God in all that we do!!

Praying for you all! God bless! Dios te bendiga! John and Tammy
