Hey there! Hope and pray you're all doing well! Are you used to the time change yet? Next week when we get back to Ohio, I'll have to get used
to a two-hour difference! :(
My laptop is acting up, it won't load, the diagnostic I was able to run says everything is fine... except it isn't. Kevin tells me it might be trying to
update. There were some updates it was trying to get me to do, I just clicked "remind me later". Maybe I shouldn't have done that. Since it's been
acting up for 3 days now with no sign of working.... oh well, happy Tammy and Sindy are letting me borrow theirs! ( today is thursday, I've ran
the diagnostic 3 times, it's been "buffering" now for 3 days)
Monday was just a regular beautiful workday. Getting as prepared as possible for our court date tomorrow. Praying for that to go our way!
Tuesday was our big day, with the new judge/police chief. Winnie sent her sister-in-law/lawyer, and she was prepared! She knew all the history and
laid out one document after another! Thank you, Carmelina! The other side didn't stand a chance. So we were, once again, assured that we could
continue to work, and if we got any grief from the neighbor to call the police! Thank you, Lord!!
Work is still progressing on the column extensions, Tammy is working on jewelry and a headboard she's making. The ants are amazing, wearing paths
in the grass, carrying seeds, leaves, etc. to their anthills! Tammy has the handbook ready for teams, we're working on identifying trips going the four
directions, (north, south, east and west ) so we'll have a choice of where to go and when talking with a team's leader, we can choose which trip works best for their goals. Busy, busy,
trying to love God and love others! Tonight (Thursday) after church will be our last "team" meal at La Plaza for a while, I'll try and go hungry! The
weather has been nice, when it has rained it's been early morning, usually done before we start at 6am. Then it warms up into the 90's.
We heard a lot about what was going on Thursday night in Ohio. We were at La Plaza eating when Riley first messaged me. Then we started looking
at the weather and Facebook, a lot of damage from the tornadoes! Praying for everyone who was affected by the storms!
Friday, we loaded up the crew, scaffolding, ladders, concrete tools and pulled the cement mixer to Beto and Sindy's to help pour the concrete for the second floor. There were 16 guys working, just like the ants, relentlessly working towards a goal! It was a lot of hard work and satisfying that we got it completed! They are going to have a very nice house when it is completed! Praise the Lord!
Saturday and I'm still fighting my computer! I'm trying the diagnostic again, then I'm going to try a "real time clock" reset. Just following directions on
line, Praying that it works! We are leaving in 3 days, now that it's here, the time seems to go really fast! Yet slow, if you know what I mean. We are
anxious to get home to Ohio and Iowa to see family and friends, yet not ready to go because there's so much to do here! God's timing. Trusting in Him always!!
Hope you are all doing well! Thank you for your prayers! Blessings, John and Tammy
