Hi there everyone!
We have hit the ground running so to speak, talking with people, setting up appointments, working on projects coming up in Honduras.
Busy, busy! We have scheduled our trip to Iowa to visit family and friends. We'll probably go meet with some people in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois on the same trip! I have to make sure our itinerary has enough flexibility in it so we're not too rushed!
I was talking to someone today (Wednesday) about what we do. It turns out he's from Columbia and was all excited about the
possibility of us going to Columbia to teach construction there!! The need is great in so very many places!! Pray, pray, pray for God's
direction in all of this! We can't help everyone, but we can help some!
Tonight, we're going to a local church service, a church that has supported us in the past and has expressed a desire to go on
a mission trip to Honduras. After the service we are going to answer any questions they may have. Prayerfully, we hope that the
desire turns into reality! I'll let you know later ... we had a great meeting last night, with 5 interested people, and we heard
that there were a couple more interested but couldn't make it! Exciting!
We have a meeting today and one for tomorrow set up, God is so very good! This weekend and next we are going to Indiana to
help Chad on a job. We also have a meeting set up on the 26th while we are in Indiana! This morning it is cold out, 35 degrees, and
some fog. It's a pretty morning! I spent some time talking with God at a bonfire that was still going from the night before with some
of the grandsons and their friends.
The crew has been plastering in both locations, Omoa and in La Ceiba! I'm praying for a payment to be made so I
can buy more supplies, otherwise I may have to pull the tools and the crew for a while... hope and pray that doesn't have to take place!
It is also raining a lot there. The Omoa crew is mostly outside, the rain puts a damper on their schedule most of the time! It
is the rainy season, it is to be expected that this will happen. One of the projects coming up has half of the work inside. That will
be a blessing!
Happy Saturday morning! The sun is shining, it's supposed to warm up today, going to be a beautiful day the Lord has made!!
I'm ready to send some of the pricing to our future customers! Glad that this part is ready! It takes some time, figuring out
what we need, then asking Sindy to find the price and availability in Honduras. Most of the time she has to search multiple ferreterias
(local hardware stores) in order to find the products. Then waiting for her to get back with me... all part of the process! Our Thursday meeting was productive, a nice visit with Scott and Debbie! There is a great chance of a trip for them in the future!
We have penciled in to go to another local church this coming Wednesday evening to share about our ministry and then have a
question and answer time. Pray for positive results from that visit and for the Holy Spirit to speak through us!
We are in Indiana now, since we're going to be busy working tomorrow, I'm working late on getting this finished so I can send it
soon.
We appreciate all of you! Thank you for your prayers and support! Blessings, John and Tammy
